Agora Consulta SaaS Platform

About the project

Agora Consulta combines in-person care, telemedicine, artificial intelligence, and connected medical devices to support clinical assessment. As the product evolved, the user experience became increasingly fragmented. My challenge was to reorganize the platform into a more intuitive, consistent, and scalable experience. That meant redesigning the screening and vitals workflows, restructuring the information architecture around the way care actually happens, and establishing a component library solid enough to carry future growth.

01 / Architecture Information

I mapped the sequence an appointment really follows: registration, consent, screening, clinical records, device handoff. Then I rebuilt the navigation around that sequence instead of around the platform’s internal modules. Every step now opens with the single decision it’s asking for, and carries forward only what the next one needs. The facilitator no longer has to translate between the way the system is organized and the way the room works.

02 / Hardware

The journey runs on connected medical devices, a tablet the facilitator holds beside the patient to take the measurements, and a television that carries the teleconsultation into the room. The same flow had to stay legible on all three without turning into three separate products.

03 / System

I defined reusable components and interface patterns to guarantee consistency and make future iterations cheaper. The main flows now share the same navigation and interaction logic. Consistency here isn’t an aesthetic matter, it’s how you shorten the learning curve for people who use the platform every day.

04 / Continuity

At the end of the journey the patient receives the report on WhatsApp or by email: results, exam images, audio and clinical record, kept over time so each visit adds to the one before it. The appointment itself is telemedicine: the physician joins from somewhere else, present in the room only through a screen. That same document opens on their side the moment the consultation starts. Nobody begins from a blank page. The patient arrives holding their own history, and the doctor arrives already knowing what was measured.

05 / Results

Agora Consulta is currently used across four healthcare delivery models: corporate health screening, workplace care, public healthcare programs and private clinic networks. Despite serving different operational contexts, every experience is powered by the same product ecosystem, combining AI, telemedicine and connected medical devices into a unified care journey.

Client “Integrating the physical and the digital, taking the best of both worlds, is crucial for patients to have a journey that is more integrated, more accessible and more efficient.”

Doctor “I never imagined I could properly manage a case of vertigo over a teleconsultation. These days, with the team training and the guidance, we get excellent results.”

Patient “I change my routine completely. My health, my life was transformed the moment I decided to take care of my health.”
